Born and raised in South Florida, Jess Taylor shines new light
on the Nashville country music scene with her eclectic alternative
country/Americana vocals. Surrounded by music at a very early age,
there is no doubt that Jess was destined to shine as a singer-songwriter.
She credits Miranda Lambert, The Civil Wars, Chris Stapleton and Mumford & Sons for her musical influences, but it was her father who
is a musician himself that truly inspired her to sing and write.
At the age of four, she took the stage to sing publicly for the very first time and hasn’t looked back since. A real talent and force to be reckoned with, Taylor at the age of fifteen was discovered by an independent label
and in no time was signed. At sixteen she already had three singles under
her belt, and music videos featured on GAC and CMT.
Although she is very grateful for the songs of her past, she is excited
to introduce to fans a brand new image and sound. Leaning on faith,
family, and friends, Taylor has already proven to be a promising new
artist. Her talent, perseverance, hard work and beauty radiate
through the lyrics of her new music.
October 2017, Taylor released her latest single "Crooked Roots" on
Spotify, iTunes and other major digital streaming platforms. The
song captures the essence of a relationship where a woman falls in
love with the "bad guy" and slowly over time she begins to lose her innocence and is drawn to the dark side.
Taylor is currently writing and prepping for her next project that is
set to release in early Spring of 2020.
